Although I don't usually read horror/thrillers, this excerpt was extremely intriguing, both well-paced and suspenseful. It introduces a young, smart psychiatrist and a mysterious patient whose case he intends to take on. I can't but be curious about what direction this novel will take. i do like the color scheme of the cover.
