This is a super intriguing start to the mystery and I am interested to see how the author utilizes the blog post form in the book. I initially thought the narrator was insufferable - too arrogant and pretentious for me to relate to or to enjoy the story he was telling, but I actually think that might be the point and his character flaws are part of the story. I can't wait to read the rest to see the patient interactions!!
