It was such a cute and adorable book about two teens who may or may not fall for each other.
We follow Spencer who loves soccer and is also trans. He begins at a new school starting his sophomore year where he knows he can be whoever he wants because the school is very liberal and supportive.
He has accepting classmates, a decent posture on the soccer team, great new friends, and maybe even something more than a friendship with one of the boys on the team.
This is all too good to be true...
Something happens that makes Spencer choose between spending the season on the bench or standing up for his rights and beliefs.
This book was so good and I’m so glad I read it for pride month!! I highly recommend this YA book. It’s seriously so eye opening and one I definitely think everyone should try. I really enjoyed this book!!
