I absolutely love this book. It has good LGBTQ+ representative and talk about some complicate subjects. Even though I know little too nothing with sports, I was excited to read about a trans book that I normally ever see.

Spencer is a 15 year old trans boy who is trying to blend in his new school after the bullying from his old school. He has supported parents (sometimes the dad slips up) and is trying to be a good older brother. But then there are transphobic rules that stops him from playing soccer, Spencer have to decide to play it safe or fight for what he loves to do.

This is a good book for not only teens but also kids who is trying to find themselves. It haves high school cliches, develop a crush, and making friends. It even give insight of how Spencer give more space for his parents to take care of his little brother Theo, who is autistic.

This isn't a book about pain and trauma. It's about courage and empathy. I hope there's a copy in every school library.
