Based solely on the cover, and the title, I would NEVER pick up this book. I am not into non-hockey sports, and would never read a book with sports as the main theme. HOWEVER, once I read the synopsis, I was hooked. This book has so much more depth to it, reminding me to never judge a book by it's cover.
