I've avoided a number of "T"s in LGBT+ literature in part due to my own misgivings/discomfort/unfamiliarity. Am I going out of my comfort zone in wanting to read this? Yes. Do I need to read this? Double yes. I'm looking forward to reading more trans-protagonist literature. There are a number of quality books in the pipeline this summer and this looks to be one of them. I hope I get an early look at Spencer's story! (I'm also looking to add more LGBT+ stories to my library's collection - I'm hoping this will be a great add!)
