Abby is at her 10 year class reunion when she runs into her best friend from yesteryear, a now up and coming Hollywood actress, Elise. After the reunion, Abby flies out to L.A. to surprise Elise. Boy, is she surprised, but excited to see her friend, Elise invites Abby to stay in her home and eventually asks Abby to be her assistant
Soon, Elise finds herself pregnant and Abby says they’ll raise the baby together, but then the father that ran out on Elise comes back to marry her. At the wedding, Abby sabotages the marriage by badmouthing the groom. No one in Hollywood knows who Abby is, so she tells the paparazzi that she is someone else. Not only does she fool them, but when Elise finds out about it all, she too is fooled.
Upon returning home from her honeymoon, Elise files for divorce from her cheating scumbag of a husband. She sends numerous messages for Abby to come to her. Abby instead goes home to Michigan to see her sister who had just had a baby. The sister is a drunk and she and the baby don’t deserve each other, but instead of Abby doing anything about it, she grabs her sisters’ purse and walks out of the trailer.
Back in L.A. Abby starts to plan how she is going to do it. She starts putting her plan into play. On the night of the costume party at the club is when she goes into that nursery and picks up that baby.
This was quite a ride of a story here. It starts off rather calm, but then where it goes, you can’t put it down. This is a good read, and the ending! I love when book takes those twists and turns, WOW!
