as deliciously explanatory as this book is, abby is warped. in paper wasp, abby is definitely obsessed with Elise, her childhood friend. i don't believe that abby wants to be a super star like Elise but she is jealous of her to some degree. the whole obsession with Perrin the artist feels like an after thought and stands to make the book even weirder with the dreams and drawings that make Abby who she is. i would have liked for Abby and Paul to make something out of nothing but Abby completed her weirdness package by........never mind....spoiler alert lol. well, this book was just good, not fabulous and not boring. just a good read. i have a few actors in mind should this be made into a weird movie but i probably would wait till it came to Netflix to see it.
