This first look was so short that it is hard to get a strong impression of the book. The cover is gorgeous and the pages ooze this dark and manic energy as a woman boards a plane, on the way to visit her famous former school mate and best friend. The way she is constantly addressing this famous starlet in her head, on the cusp of obsessive, gives the story an interesting drive and, I believe, will make for an interesting dynamic as the main character claws her way through the glitz and glam of Hollywood towards fame. Would be interested to read more.
