The Painted Art Journal by Jeanne Oliver is really neat. I loved the introduction because it explained why she wrote/made this book and how this book was brought about. She had a list of different art supplies and what they are and what they are used for. The pictures in this book were absolutely amazing as well, I love pictures that show art supplies. She tells you to tell a story and has some steps of how to tell your story, because there is no one way to tell your story. She explained how to start a creative ritual, because you should have the right head space to create when you want to create something. She wanted us to make a story board about our story maybe of how we wanted to start drawing and creating and how we became these creative beings. If you like drawing and creating you should dive into this book. Especially if you want to dive in more of your creative headspace.
