So I was pulled into this book at first, with things starting to pick up pretty quickly. But unfortunately the main character just made too many obviously dumb decisions to continue the mystery of the storyline, that the author lost me. There were so many instances where a simple question or conversation would have cleared so much up, and when it didn’t happen it just didn’t feel realistic at all. Not to mention, the “other woman” had a goal in mind, but chose to most ridiculous path to achieving this goal. There were way more simple actions that would’ve saved a lot of time and confusion for everyone. Overall it just felt like the mysterious narrative was forced together by a bunch of unrealistic actions and decisions by the characters. This led to unlivable characters and what felt like a lot of wasted time in parts of the book. Overall it was just okay.
