*Sigh* I think it could have been better, but I still enjoyed it and finished the story.
Okay, so Emily is being tormented by her mother-in-law and she and her husband don’t have an amazingly fantastic relationship either. Unlike his relationship with his mother which is strong as can be. One could say he’s a momma’s boy, but seriously it’s so much worse.
This story started off without the common slooooow set up. Thankfully. Instead it got right into the action and twisty relationship dynamics of these characters. Think the classic boy meet girl story with a dark twist which ends in a way you won’t see coming.
The Other Woman is more of a Drama than a Thriller and a story of love gone bad and is a PSA for the dangers of miscommunication as we slow watch communication die a miserable death one interaction at a time. It’s still totally enjoyable just not what I was expecting! 😘
