Sandie Jones has become one of my go-to authors lately, but The Other Woman left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

The storyline drew me in right away, with Emily and Adam's seemingly perfect relationship that quickly turns weird- to be honest.

Oh, but Pammie. She's essentially the mother-in-law from hell who turns Emily's life and love upside down. Her character is largely unlikable, but I felt like most of the characters were, including Emily. Who in their right mind puts up with some of the things that Adam tries with her? The only likable characters were Emily's best friends Pippa, Seb, and Emily's mom.

The ending was abrupt and also predictable. I had a feeling it was coming and I just wanted to get it over with. While this wasn't my favorite of Sandie Jones, this was one of Reese's Book Club picks, so don't take my word for it!
