I read The Other Woman on my recent road trip to the beach, and it was the perfect choice as it was clever, mysterious, engaging and a whole lot of twists that I didn't see coming! Emily has seemingly chosen the perfect man, Adam, to spend the rest of her life with, the only problem being that he is devoted to his mother Pammie and his brother James, and both create trouble in the young couple's relationship. Pammie clearly wants Emily out of the picture at ANY costs and James may or may not be in love with his brother's true love. From beginning to end, it is challenging to see Emily desperately TRY to love his family and then begin to wonder if the problem is actually HER--is she the difficult one? Luckily Emily has wonderful friends and family for support, but even they sometimes can't see the problems that she sees--is she imagining things? The readers begin to wonder this too, but then motives become more clear for Pammie's behavior...or do they? The end will be one that is a shocker!
