Very Brief Synopsis: Emily meets a man, Adam, falls in love and gets engaged. However, she soon finds that not everyone is happy about this relationship/engagement.

When I heard the title "The Other Woman" I instantly thought there was an affair involved. Boy was I wrong. The mother is the "woman" and man is she a beast!
Adam's mother, Pammie, does everything she can possibly do to sabotage Emily's relationship with Adam. Throughout the book, I couldn't help but think that this has to be every significant other's nightmare. Especially since Pammie is so nasty and mean to Emily yet Adam does not believe it. Subsequently, the story follows Emily through her ordeal of trying to navigate between Adam and his mom while enduring psychological torment from both.
There is a reason for the madness though, and if you pay close attention the author gives you clues as to what that is. Not everything is as it seems.
All in all, I thought this book was definitely entertaining. I felt like it had a slow start but once it started picking up speed it was difficult to put down. Hence, I read it in one sitting.
