I received an ARC through Minotaur Books and I would like to say thank you so much!!! This book will be available 8/21/18 and you will certainly want to put this on your TBR list.

This is from Sandie Jones, her debut and I believe she did a fantastic job!

Emily believes that she has found the man of her dreams, Adam. She has been hurt in the past, but cannot help but fall hard and fast for this man. She believes that this relationship will be different because of the passion that they are both experiencing.

Adam doesn't like to talk about things, especially his ex but wants to know everything about Emily. Maybe a little controlling, but she is handling it. She hopes to help him learn how to open up more, share his feelings and thoughts.

Then there is Pammie, Adam's mother. It seems that whenever Emily and Pammie are together there is nothing but trouble and Emily doesn't understand why they cannot get along. Why does Pammie always sabotage everything and every given moment?

Does Emily really and truly love Adam when she is also having doubts about his brother James? James puts himself out there for her. He tries to communicate with her and make sure all is well but Emily continues to try and push him away.

What exactly is the story between Adam and his ex? Why is Pammie making comments that Emily and James have been "together." Why is there all this drama?

I thought that you really could get a sense of the characters. I admit, I wanted to take a hold of Emily and shout at her sometimes to wise up and stop hiding all that was being done against her. I wanted to grab a hold of Prammie and just shake some sense into her and tell her to get her own life. I really did get into the characters, they were very well-developed.

I can honestly say that the ending truly "blew me away." I did not see it coming. I thought it was intense but definitely fantastic.

The author did an amazing job and I look forward to reading more from her.
