The cover definitely would have drawn me to this book in a bookstore. There's something about a simple formal dress just hanging alone on a hanger that draws you in, letting you know that a book will be one full of romance and yet either sadness or thrill.

The first 30 pages definitely opened up a lot of questions for me. I desperately wanted to keep reading, to find out more about Adam and Emily's relationship and how it advances. To see if Pammie, Adam's mother, is a villain or actually a savior in her (from the description of the book and the prologue) to destroy their relationship.
