Love This Book So Much! Can't wait for Book 2!
Thank you Bookish First and Peguin Teen/Viking Publishing for the free book. This book didn't disappoint. It's a refreshing take on the Arthurian Legend. So happy to see diversity in a fantasy! I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic comedy! Will definitely read more from this author.
I love Emry she's so relatable. She's a bad ass that doesn't take crap from anybody. Her sexual/romantic chemistry with Arthur is off the charts. They are so cute together! I need to see more of them! I also like her interactions with Emmett, Gawain, and Lancelot.
I enjoyed the adventure/action/drama this story has showed. The feminism feels so natural and not over-the-top. I'm excited to find out more about Emry's father and Morgana's plans with her husband. Can't wait to read more about Emry and Arthur's journey together in book 2! The cover fits perfectly for this book.
