The Other Merlin was easy for me to get caught up in right away. I always love a good reimagining of Arthurian tales - with an emphasis on the good part. Emry seems like a strong female character that's balanced between stretching boundaries and not being unrealistic. Never to mind that pretty much the whole excerpt had me trying not to grin.
