This sounds similar to “Before We Were Yours” except it’s set during the flu pandemic. It sounds like a very interesting and timely read. My only complaint is the excerpt was very difficult to read because the font was so close together and tiny. I also wish I hadn’t automatically used my points on one of the other books because this one sounds so much better. :(
