This book put a pit in my stomach - not because it was bad, but because it felt so pertinent to what is going on in the world today. I am interested to know more about this time period and the lessons we could have learned (or maybe we did - I am not informed enough to know) from this previous outbreak. Pia is an interesting character and I am excited to read more.
