Strength in the Darkest Light of Hardship

What a timely book Ms. Wiseman has written. I can’t imagine the pain that Pia goes through when realizing she can’t locate her family. The book pulled me in immediately. During the Spanish Flu my ancestors were in NY, like Philadelphia, it was a wasteland after it was all over. Families were torn apart even without such a person as an Orphan Collector. Pia seems like she is one brave woman to try and over come the odds of finding her family again. I know a lot of people gave up!
This “First Look” left me wanting more!
