Absolutely nothing could be more timely than THIS book.

Wow, what a timely book to read right now. I've been intrigued by the Spanish Flu ever since a read As Bright as Heaven last year. I learned so much about this unbelievable pandemic that wreaked havoc on our nation - as well as the city of Philadelphia in particular. The images on the first page were almost too close to our current situation that they were tough to see; but as a true lover of historical fiction, I believe we can learn so many things from history. It's our duty to read these stories and learn as much as we can. The added storyline (complication) of orphans / immigrants just makes this book all the more intriguing. Sign me up!
