I was finally was able to get my hands on this book from the library after like a year of hearing about it, annnndddd yea. not what i thought. I even had the chance to read the first look and there's just so much animal violence in this book :l like stomping dogs to death? and those weren't even the first dogs? and even if that wasn't the entire point of the book that's what stuck out to me after reading it the most, i mean it was cool the way it was like a story being told or whatever at the end was going on there, but i read a book in like 2018 that is uh pretty similar to this, like weredeer or whatever too, so that's another thing i couldn't stop thinking, ngl. took me awhile to read this book too bc of the gore, so i didn't even speed through this book.
TLDR; Really gory, lots of animal death, scary and does have a story but read it in different book years ago.
