The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones had so much potential. I must admit I am still working on finishing this novel. The plot of the novel is incredibly captivating, but I struggled to stay enticed. The most thrilling parts of the story seemed to fly by while the wordy bits felt like they dragged on. However, despite some of the lackluster bits, I find myself still reading so I am taking that as a positive sign. After all, something called me to this story, and I have to know how it ends.
Please remember, this is all my own opinion. I debated on even writing this review for fear of convincing somebody NOT to read something that has caught their eye. I am finishing the novel and still recommend it to anybody that might find their own interest piqued.
