I was intrigued
I really appreciated the writing style of this book. Graham is able to get you inside the head of the character and you almost feel like a voyeur, like you’re seeing too many intimate things and shouldn’t be there. The themes that permeated this novel about race, respect, and your place in this world were flush throughout. There were certainly some dark and gory scenes but learn to the feeling of the characters and the terror that was felt. I thought it was well written and almost poetic in an incredibly dark way.
I would recommend this to fans of horror and deep character development who want to learn more about Indian culture and how people view themselves and their cultural background. Deep and riveting.
