I loved this one, even though I am not into horror, which is because I never read a horror book before. This was a good introduction to the genre. I even understood the elk a bit, I mean, not to that extent but still. I don’t know anything about the norms for Indians so I just followed along with what the book said the norms for them(the four men) were. I would’ve liked to learn a bit more, but I acknowledge that the plot had to keep moving. This book brought many different emotions, and I am saying this in a good and bad way. I was scared to shocked to sad. The author created some unique characters, and in the end, I feel like they were all even, all having received and given some(or a whole lot of) pain. And now I know karma is real. Honestly, I didn’t know what I exactly felt in the ending. I think it was a mix of various emotions actually, mostly sorrow though...
