Beautifully written
The rave reviews for this book were initially what drew me in. I have heard nothing but good things about Stephen graham Jones writing style. He is clearly very talented. But I really couldn’t get through this one. I tried to put it down and come back to it periodically. It’s beautifully written but just did not work for me. An interesting take on grief and guilt but slightly too violent and gritty for my taste.overall a disappointment for me but clearly a winner for others
