The excerpt didn't really grab my attention. I think part of the problem is I just don't have enough to really get a sense of what was going on. Some books take longer to get into which might be the case here. I would be interested in reading more of the book though because the publisher synopsis was intriguing. It sounds like something different from what I normally read which is good.
