The cover, plot synopsis, and diverse nature of this book were what initially drew me into this novel. A story which interweaves Native American culture and legend into a tale of horror and revenge. I think this is going to be a complex story capable of generating some really great conversation among readers. The prologue and first chapter give some insight into the vengeful nature of the entity, materializing in the form of the elk, hunting them. I'm interested in discovering what act they committed on that hunting trip to instigate this level of retaliation.
