The cover of this book drew me to it instantly, then the blurb pulled me in the rest of the way. While the prologue did seem a little long, it tells an important story. It is written in a very mesmerizing way. Once the first chapter start the characters change and it seems like it is present day (I could be wrong), I really like the first peak at the two characters and their dog. I cannot wait to read more.
