Good potential, interested in seeing plot develop

The cover is beautiful and fits the plot well. The prologue seemed to abruptly cut off mid-sentence - not sure if this was intentional. I liked the plot but was a bit confused until getting towards the end of the first chapter, so I’d have to read more of the book to form a full opinion.
