The first thought coming to my mind after reading the impression is "creepy". I've never read anything by this author before, but I can already tell that there's a distinct writing style here. I'm intrigued about what's going on, particularly since the color yellow has already popped up a few times. I can't tell if I love or hate the cover! The deer is kind of unsettling.
