I could see the appeal in this book, and the author certainly does a great job of getting into the character's head, but I found the sample too confusing. I don't think it's the book's fault. Looking at the page numbers, it seems that the prologue was both missing pages and out of order. It made the read confusing because I didn't realize this until I got to the end of the prologue and it ended in the middle of a sentence. Overall, I'm just not sure where this book is going and it's probably just not for me.
