EXCELLENT opening lines...Can't wait to read more!
I love the point of view in this story. The first few lines immediately capture a reader's attention and force us into the tension Condie is building. I've read her other books and this one is going to be another great read...I can tell!
I need to know why she's in the woods. I need to know why her brain is playing tricks on her. There is so much in the first glimpse that sets the story of up for a truly heart-pounding development. Why is no one writing back to the texts? Where did everybody go? Is her mind just playing tricks on her like she thinks!?!?!?
These first few pages are "unputdownable" and I can't wait to read the rest of this book.
