It’s 1:00 am and I can’t sleep because I can’t stop thinking about this book. Full disclosure: it was a cover-buy for me when I came across it at the store. A few months later, I finally picked it up and I’m mad at myself for waiting this long. First, the idea of focusing the series on a group of survivors from a high school tragedy? Wow - not a typical plot point. I wasn’t expecting to feel so much and to this level, but I did.
This is a book I laughed at, I cried at, and in the end, my heart is full. I’m already looking forward to the next book in this series and to follow the series throughout.
The characters were amazingly developed, and I loved their story. There is so much potential here and I’m excited to see what’s next!
