Sigh. Where do I begin? Okay first with the things I liked about the book. So the writing was so easy and very understanding. I love the way the author unravels the story and engages with the reader, making me want more and more. I also liked the route the other decided to take on the story. This is a heavy topic, and it truly takes talent to be able to approach a story like this. Having us understand the way the characters dealt with the events of their past. Now is where it went downhill. I wish we got more than just the stereotypical high school football player and the complete opposite quirky good girl. It was so hard to connect with these characters and wanting to know more about them. I liked the idea of an unfinished business/past but it just wasn't done well. Same thing with the story, I didn't feel connected to it. A very important element to a book, is the affect on you . That, it didn't give me. I was just a book to keep me entertained temporarily.
