Great start to what may be a difficult subject
I think this is a great start so far to this novel. It is definitely a sign of the times that we are creating novels about survivors of a school shooting finding love years later. Not that this is a bad thing. It just makes me kinda sad that the characters had to experience that.
I liked Liv and Finn. I could feel the passion that they had for each other and I’m interested to see how they push the past away to find that love.
I think that it was a great idea to include other survivors as friends of Liv. Even if their friendship did feel a little flat. But after 10 years of no contact, I guess that makes sense.
I can’t wait to read more of Finn and Liv. I have a thing for the returned lovers theme especially if those lovers are not the normal. So would love to read more!
