I was a little apprehensive about reading the excerpt for this book. It's not the usual thing I read, and I'm very picky. However, I was absolutely hooked by the end of Chapter 1. The story is compelling, gripping, and extremely well written. I did not want the First Look to end! I have a feeling I'll be rereading it until the book is released!
