Roni Loren is an author who could convince me to try anything she has written. The first few pages of this book illustrate why. I was instantly invested in the story and clamoring to know more even knowing how dark and painful the journey was likely to be. The cover is a nicer version of a standard contemporary romance cover. It would not sway me either way.
