I read the first impression for The Ones We're Meant to Find when BookishFirst provided a preview. Having read the full book now, the first impression did not disappoint! I was so intrigued by all the twists and turns in the novel that I just had to keep reading. I felt that each chapter added more to the story, therefore I had to continue on to fully understand what was going on. Honestly, it was really different than other science fiction novels I've read recently and I really enjoyed that!
Joan He wrote an amazing sci-fi novel that explores the relationship between two sisters. I really loved Kasey as a character and was able to connect with her even if I hadn't gone through similar experiences. The one thing I really loved is that even when Kasey felt betrayed by her sister, she never wanted to let her down and continued working for the greater good of Earth.
