This was a very interesting read. It did not go the way I expected, starting out with Cee on an island, mostly amnesic but looking for her sister and Kasey high up in a city in the sky trying to find out about her sister. Seems pretty normal, especially with this dystopian future, but then it takes a major twist which was not what I expected but I still liked the book. I do like the love that the sisters have for each other, despite being so different, one being scientific and distant and the other full of life and going all out on everything..
I really hope that we do not get as bad as what the humans did in this book, not ready for megaquakes and poisoning of the earth due to chemicals and drilling and all that. That was a sobering thing to read about while Kasey is working with Actinium to figure out what happened with Celia.
This was a good book to read and it kinda makes you think about how we could end up like that, or at least I did. And I like the family bonds of Celia and Kasey. I also think the cover is gorgeous!
