Loved It!

This book is so hard for me to review. Because I absolutely loved it, but I also spent half of it confused. I think it was intentional, and it definitely worked, but once again, confusion.

My favorite thing about this is definitely how well the plotlines wove together. When the big reveal about them came about, I just sat there in shock for a good five minutes. I wasn't expecting it at all, but it was so lyrical and poetic.

I also really loved our characters; Kasey and Cee. I definitely relayed more to Kasey, and I loved her journey, but Cee's was just as well written. The way they tied together broke my heart, and I almost wish we had more at the ending to explain. There were so many amazing relationships portrayed in these pages, I wasn't ready to let go of them.

This is definitely a book I'll need to reread to truly grasp. There's so many twists, so much foreshadowing, and so many little things that are so impressive. And, the Marie Lu comparison was spot on. For the first half of this, I was a bit skeptical, but everything came together in the last 100 pages. This is definitely a new favorite!
