This first chapters of this novel are gripping, as you're thrown into this dystopian world with minimal worldbuilding ahead of time and you have to figure out what it going on as things happen. I really enjoyed it - I like the narrative type and appreciate that we don't get all of the answers right away. I am curious to learn about what happened and how Kay and Cee find each other again.
