The Ones We're Meant to Find is striking from the very first page as it introduces two sisters who have been separated. Cee's situation is mysterious, and I immediately wondered how she had gotten to where she is, what had happened to her. Kasey's perspective introduces us to the world that they live in, with technology like the Intraface and holoing. I'm especially intrigued by the way Joan He explores the effects of climate change and creates a world that highlights the ways humanity has adapted. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the book, and I am obsessed with the stunning cover! Right away, it suggests that the reader is in for an emotional, heartwrenching journey.
