While I do enjoy historical non-fiction, there's been a quite a number of novels with the WWII setting recently. Not to say it's a bad thing. While The Nine did grab me, I'm pretty much exhausted from reading a slew of historical fiction and non-fiction novels.
Given that I'm probably not in the right state of mind to offer a four or five-star rating of The Nine, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt of giving it a three star rating of I liked it inasmuch as I did find it interesting to say the least.
