I’ve read many books with a WWII setting and am quite aware of and repulsed by the treatment of human beings by unfeeling persons such as the German Natzis. I admire the brave women and men of the various Resistance groups. I’m sure this book by Gwen Strauss would be an excellent one to read, but with all the suffering which will be revealed it’s is not one I would choose to read at the present time.
