After reading the synopsis, I was thoroughly captivated. World War II history is one of my favorite subjects, so I have always loved fiction and nonfiction books on this topic.
The first section in Chapter 1 was exciting! The Nine are breaking away from their forced march. This opening scene is an attention grabber. However, the second section does not hold the reader's attention as well. While background history in "Christine" is necessary, I felt that the momentum came to an abrupt stop. Where I had initially wanted to use my points for a copy, I began to second guess my level of interest. I will take my chances on winning a copy.
