I really enjoyed this collection of short stories by African writers. When I learned that the authors featured in this collection were either debut authors or authors that were not well known, I honestly didn’t really have much expectations for it. I was totally wrong though because this collection was so good. So good. I was totally absorbed in these pages and there were a couple stories I really wish were their own book! I think my favorite was the very first story. It really set the bar high for the rest of the book. I also liked that all the stories were kind of different. Some were really creepy/disturbing, while others left me feeling kind of hopeful. They were all very interesting and I’d definitely read another collection like this one. I highly recommend this one! What a gem!
