The short stories from the excerpt were both very different in subject matter, which I liked. The writing styles between the stories also showcased the diversity in voices throughout the book. I enjoy reading short stories, so this book definitely interested me, and I think it will interest anyone trying to read more African literature from up-and-coming authors.
